What we install.

Every job is different — one day it's lighting control, the next it's a network, the next it's security. Below is what that covers, for homes and for businesses. If what you need isn't listed, ask.

For homes

Homes

Most of our work is residential — single rooms through whole-house systems, in city homes, suburban new builds, and high-rise condos.

Display Customization

Your screen exactly where you want it, at the height and angle you want it, with the cable concealed inside the wall.

  • Placement set to your sightlines, not the installer's convenience
  • Flush, tilting, articulating, and in-wall recessed mounts
  • Anchored into structure — stud, block, brick, or stone
  • Power and signal concealed in the wall, nothing hanging below
  • Frame and art-mode displays that read as a picture when off
  • Soundbar and speaker integration on the same wall

Home Automation

Lighting, climate, locks, shades, and audio on one app — with scenes built around how you actually live.

  • Control4 and comparable platforms, designed and programmed
  • Scenes for arriving, leaving, and going to bed
  • Lighting and shade control, room by room
  • Thermostat scheduling and remote climate control
  • Door locks and garage integration
  • Voice assistants and third-party devices brought onto one system

Home Theater

Projector, screen, seating, and acoustics designed as one room rather than a pile of equipment.

  • Projector and screen sizing for the room's actual dimensions
  • Seating layout and riser planning
  • Surround speaker placement and calibration
  • Acoustic treatment where the room needs it
  • One-button scenes that dim the lights and open the curtains
  • Equipment racked and ventilated out of sight

Whole-Home Audio

In-ceiling and in-wall speakers zoned room by room, fed from whatever you already listen to.

  • Zoned amplification, each room controlled independently
  • In-ceiling and in-wall speakers finished flush
  • Spotify, Pandora, Apple Music, and local libraries
  • Outdoor and patio zones
  • Keypad, app, and voice control

Home Networking

Designed around your house, not a box off a shelf — one subnet, hardwired backhaul, and traffic that goes where it should.

  • Designed to the building: square footage, layout, and what the walls are made of
  • Structured cabling home-run to a central enclosure
  • Hardwired access points instead of a mesh relaying through itself
  • One subnet, and double-NAT resolved rather than worked around
  • Managed switching with traffic segmented and prioritized
  • Existing Ethernet reused and repositioned wherever it can be
  • Every run dressed and labeled at the panel
  • Diagnosing and re-engineering networks someone else installed

Security & Surveillance

Cameras, sensors, and door stations you can check from anywhere, on the same system as everything else.

  • Video surveillance with recording and remote viewing
  • Entry and motion sensors
  • Door access control
  • Video intercoms and doorbell stations
  • Alerts tied into your automation scenes

For business

Businesses

Conference rooms, networks, and security for offices and small commercial spaces. Recent work includes a wealth management firm and a real estate agency.

Conference Rooms

A room anyone can walk into and use — display, camera, and audio on one control, without a training session.

  • Display and camera specification and installation
  • Crestron and comparable control systems, programmed
  • One universal remote or iPad to run the room
  • Remote meeting streaming and video conferencing
  • Ceiling and table microphone coverage
  • Cable management inside the table and walls

Business Networking

Structured cabling, managed switching, and racks built to be maintained by whoever comes next.

  • Structured cabling and patch panel termination
  • Managed switching and VLAN segmentation
  • Access point placement and coverage surveys
  • Rack layout, power, and ventilation
  • Labeling and documentation at the panel

Voice over IP

Phone systems that run on the network you already have.

  • VoIP system deployment and configuration
  • Handset installation and extension setup
  • Integration with existing network infrastructure
  • Call routing and voicemail configuration

Cybersecurity

Closing the doors that get left open — ports, firmware, and the malware paths that follow them.

  • Firewall configuration and port auditing
  • Network segmentation to contain a breach
  • Malware and intrusion protection
  • Firmware and patch management
  • Remote access secured properly

Security & Access Control

Surveillance, entry control, and monitoring for a space that has to be secure after hours.

  • Video surveillance and recording
  • Door access control and credentialing
  • Video intercoms at entries
  • Remote monitoring and alerts

Commercial AV & IT

Displays, distributed audio, and the ongoing IT work that keeps it all running.

  • Digital signage and distributed video
  • Background and paging audio
  • Lighting control for offices and common areas
  • Ongoing IT support and troubleshooting

Case study — Chicago

70 Mbps to 650, without opening a wall.

  • Before 70 Mbps with drop-outs
  • At the gateway 750 Mbps provider service
  • After 650 Mbps throughout the house

The problem

A Chicago home was paying for gigabit service and living with about 70 Mbps and constant drop-outs. The house ran on a mesh system sitting behind the provider's gateway, so every device was relaying through another wireless hop and the network had been split across two subnets — a double-NAT that no amount of rebooting was going to fix.

What we did

We replaced the mesh with hardwired access points on our own router, put the whole house back on a single subnet, and cleared the double-NAT. Rather than pull new cable, we traced the Ethernet already in the walls from a previous install and repositioned the runs to land where the access points actually needed to be.

The result

The provider was delivering 750 Mbps at the gateway. The house now sees about 650 Mbps in the rooms people use it in — roughly nine times what it had, with the drop-outs gone.

Every network is designed around the building it goes into — square footage, layout, and what the walls are made of. A small office and a large home don't get the same equipment.

Office conference room with a wall-mounted display running Crestron and seating for ten.

After the install

We guarantee our work.

What we agreed to deliver is written into the contract, and that's what gets delivered. Equipment carries its manufacturer's warranty — if a unit fails inside that window, it's replaced, no questions asked.

If something fails within 30 days because of how it was installed, we come back and fix it at no charge. And years later, when you have a question about a system we put in, you can still call and ask.
