We fell in love with this work.
Vic Morales was working for AT&T when he walked into a house where an integrator was wiring a theater room. He asked the man what he did for a living — and by the end of the answer his heart was pounding. That was the career.
He earned his credentials through CEDIA, the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association, apprenticed with established integrators, and incorporated Excel Technology Integration in 2014. Since then the business has grown almost entirely on referrals — one client telling the next.
This company is dedicated to smart home technology and home entertainment, and to the customer service that goes with it — from professionally mounting your television on the wall, to building a proper home theater, to engineering the network that ties the whole house together and puts it under your control.
That's still the whole model. We take on work we can do properly, we're straight with you about what it involves, and we stand behind it afterward. What clients tend to thank us for isn't the equipment — it's the professionalism and the standards we keep on their job site.
I have Control4 in my own house. I wouldn't sell a client something I'm not comfortable using myself.
Estimates come before work starts, and if something behind a wall may need replacing you hear about it then, not afterward. We'll also build to a budget you name — specifying one-gigabit equipment instead of two-and-a-half if your service can't use the difference, rather than selling you headroom you'll never touch.
